Dr. Mary Stanley

Dr. Stanley’s dream since she was a small child was always to be a veterinarian for small animals. She has always had numerous pets as part of her life growing up in Chattanooga.
Dr. Stanley has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Chattanooga area since 2002. She has served as an officer in the Hamilton County Veterinary Medical Association since 2004 holding positions as the president, vice‑president, and secretary at different times. As an officer of the HCVMA, she became the representative for the Board of the new McKamey Animal Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UT) where she attended via the Tennessee Scholars program and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Stanley received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from UT’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She graduated in the top 5 of her class and was a member of the Phi Zeta honor society.
Dr. Stanley enjoys spending time with her friends and family which includes her three dogs, Paco, Latté, and Tito. Dr. Stanley holds a special place in her heart for small breeds of dogs especially Chihuahuas. She holds a special interest in soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.
